Well, after 3 weeks off it's back to school tomorrow for Lily.
After several thousand times of hearing how bored she was, apparently she is NOT ready to go back to school. There have already been tears tonight... and something tells me that I'll be the one in tears tomorrow as she gets on the bus again. Ugh.
And she has her new reading glasses to wear now, so I'm really hoping that she doesn't get teased.
Oh please just let us get through this day and then hopefully things will get a little easier again.

Lily's aspirations
She has decided that she is going to have 6 kids when she grows up- 3 girls and 3 boys.
The hitch is that she is not going to have them herself. That hurts too much she says.
So... she's going to adopt them all.
And no husband for her. No sirree. She's going to do it all herself!

Grandma and Grandpa pay a visit
Matt's parents came to visit today. They got to town at about 3 pm and we all ate dinner at Max and Erma's-- the only restaurant that Sophia seems to tolerate without having a breakdown.
For some reason they took a little longer than usual this time, so I had to exit Sophia from the scene and take her into the mall for awhile.
The child has only been walking for about 3 weeks now, but you would think it was months with the speeds she is getting up to!
Needless to say, I was worn out from chasing her around- and she didn't want any part of holding my hand. She was just off!
Why, oh why did I ever wish for her mobility??
